Since 1977 Sojourner Center has provided shelter and support services to tens of thousands of women and children affected by domestic violence. Through empowerment, families discover hope and have the opportunity to build new futures free from violence. As one of the nation’s largest domestic violence shelters, Sojourner Center is a tireless advocate for domestic violence victims and survivors. With the continued support of the community, Sojourner Center can help women and children overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time.
Preparing the next generation of workers
ACYR is committed to helping young people become contributors to a healthy community and a robust economy. Our vision is that young people: Obtain the academic, vocational, personal, and social skills necessary to complete requirements for a high school credential and enter postsecondary education or training; Are employed in jobs that support themselves and their families well; Are valued as key contributors to the community’s health growth and development.
The AMCA aims to be the principal association in Arizona representing and advocating on behalf of all minority and women-owned contractors. We provide our members with educational opportunities and events designed to help their businesses grow. Comprised of more than 100 minority and women-owned businesses, the AMCA is Arizona’s largest association devoted solely to minority business achievement. Our dedicated Board of Directors is committed to the success of every member and their valuable organizations
Very few agencies in Arizona provide the kind of services that the homeless need. A complex combination of addiction recovery, trauma counseling, medical healing, and physical safety is essential in helping these individuals and families transition to a healthy and independent lifestyle.
