More Community

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC and its 70 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors.

Who We Are

MBDA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce that promotes the growth of minority-owned business through the mobilization and advancement of public and private sector programs, policy, and research.

What We Do

We work throughout the Nation to link minority-owned businesses with the capital, contracts, and markets they need to grow. We advocate and promote minority-owned business with elected officials, policy makers, and business leaders. Serving as subject matter experts and advocates for the minority business community, we conduct high quality research and cultivate domestic and international relationships.

ABA is an alliance of the Arizona Chapters of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), and the Associated General Contractors of America – Building Chapter  (AGC).

With offices in Phoenix and Tucson representing over 300 member companies, including contractors and professional service firms, serving the needs of the commercial & industrial construction industry.

Our purpose is to lead our members and the construction industry to greater productivity and profitability through:

  •      Education:  Craft Training to Management Education
  •      Networking and Business Development Opportunities
  •      Legislative Advocacy on behalf of the Commercial Construction Industry

We believe in giving back to our community!

Since 1977 Sojourner Center has provided shelter and support services to tens of thousands of women and children affected by domestic violence. Through empowerment, families discover hope and have the opportunity to build new futures free from violence. As one of the nation’s largest domestic violence shelters, Sojourner Center is a tireless advocate for domestic violence victims and survivors. With the continued support of the community, Sojourner Center can help women and children overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time.

The AMCA aims to be the principal association in Arizona representing and advocating on behalf of all minority and women-owned contractors.  We provide our members with educational opportunities and events designed to help their businesses grow. Comprised of more than 100 minority and women-owned businesses, the AMCA is Arizona’s largest association devoted solely to minority business achievement. Our dedicated Board of Directors is committed to the success of every member and their valuable organizations

Colleen’s Dream Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to funding investigational scientific research with the primary goal of developing an accurate early detection test for ovarian cancer. Currently, no such test exists, making ovarian cancer the deadliest of all gynecological cancers. Colleen’s Dream was founded in 2012 by Nicole Cundiff and her husband, Billy, a 12-year veteran kicker in the NFL. In the short time Colleen’s Dream has been operational, it has garnered unfathomable support and has quickly become the largest, privately funded, ovarian cancer specific nonprofit in the state of Arizona

Very few agencies in Arizona provide the kind of services that the homeless need. A complex combination of addiction recovery, trauma counseling, medical healing, and physical safety is essential in helping these individuals and  families transition to a healthy and independent lifestyle.

Sentinel Fence and Contracting Team enjoyed helping prepare over 1,000 meals for Arizona children in May 2018.
